Bell icon (Blue or gray)

IT is driving me nuts !!! What is meaning of blue or gray bell icons on favorites ???? I can't find out ... and how does it change ? Please help.

@goc Hello, blue bell means that your alert is active and gray means inactive = conditions have not been met yet.

@Korina thx, by active does it mean that one of "rules" is real? active? like right now or in alert definition time-frame?
and grey = conditions have not been met yet --> none of my "if's" from alert definitions are true ?
