Integrate windy API with react-leaflet as BaseLayer on map
-
I am trying initializing windy map in the react component with help of "react-windy-leaflet" npm package, but it throws peer dependency errors. Even I have tried to implement it with a custom react component but it didn't work and make conflict with the "react-leaflet" npm package.
I want to integrate the windy map as a layer on map, this layer is one kind of switch to change the map layer(https://prnt.sc/sqnjxi), but unluckily I'm unable to implement it & render it on click of the switch. Please help me to solve this issue, your any kind of help with be helpful to us.
Please check the same unsolved issue in windy community,

We're wondering if there's just tile layers available for basic weather etc?

@Aisconverse Unfortunately, there is no anything like "just Windy layer". The Windy API is very much tied to the Leaflet library. I have never tried this, but I would definitely try another approach: to implement Windy API and add "non-windy" layers.

@marekd Thanks for the reply. I have a question, Is it works on switching from windy to satellite and again satellite to windy?
Somewhere I go through a post stating, windy have an issue with re-render map on switching.

I have no idea, I have never faced this situation. Sorry.
