Android widget not updating to correct location

I've noticed that the android widget does not always update to your current location, even if the app itself does show you at the correct location if you open the app. I had to travel for work, and the widget kept going to my old, not current location for several days, even when my current location was several 1000's of KM away. Even nearby locations keep being not updated. The widget keeps showing the town you have been, but refuses to fetch for your updated location. What i needed to do to fix it was to completely remove the app, restart my phone, and reinstall the app before getting the correct location.

Hi @akajoep what Start-up location you have set? Do you have 'Use GPS' as Start-up location?

@petra-pik yes, i've got (my current location) as start up/ update for the widget, and use gps for the app itself
