How accurate do you find Windy (App) to be in terms of wind direction and speed?

I'm curious as to their source for wind speed and direction in areas without weather reporting equipment at uncontrolled fields and how accurate they are. Have any of you used Windy to plan a flight and compared their wind maps against what you encountered? How accurate was it?
