Hello, I noticed the following. A timeline is set in the widget for the amount of rain. However, if I change the timeline, the amount of rain that is being vacuumed does not change - this leads to considerable irritation

On your side, however, this is not solved with a timeline, but with buttons - and it works:

Can you take a look at this, please? Thank you and best regards

For me it’s not clear what you call the widget.
What you show is the layer of Rain accumulation.
So for instance, let’s check the amount of rain cumulated at day 3, then at day 5. At day 5 the cumulated rain will the amount of rain between days 3 and 5 plus the cumulated rain at day 3
The rain amount at the previous date is not cleared for the next one or it would not be an accumulation.

@idefix37 Look at the two links.

One has a push bar, the other a button. Nothing changes with the sliding bar and the AccuRain simulation stops

OK I see, you are right. I checked your links on iPad and both gave me the same picture as Windy.
But on desktop it's clear there is something wrong with the widget.

@idefix37 Great - what do you think, how long will it take for the bug to be fixed? Because there is currently a lot of precipitation and the forecasts - due to the bug - are very poor

Is there a time frame for fixing the bug? The reason for this is that these widgets are spread over many pages and reflect an improper precipitation forecast.

@Mitch_ES It this bug will be fixed in a new release. I'm not able to tell you when that will be.

@petra.pik Are there any major problems with the bug? I have to slowly look around for alternatives, because users complain massively that the precipitation forecast shows incorrect data - I don't want to be rude and appreciate Windy's work very much, but it's been a month now without anyone knowing anything specific

There are problems? I haven't noticed any changes yet, or have I missed something?

@Mitch_ES This bug is not solved yet. We are constantly working on improving the product and solving bugs. There are bugs that had bigger priority at the moment and our development team had to focus on those. However, we will be releasing new version within next week :)

After more than two months there was no noticeable improvement. you can't expect users to constantly present incorrect data ?!

@Korina Unfortunately this bug still persists - for more than 6 months. The problem with this is that this widget shows incorrect data on many pages, so many users are misled! As a company, I would have given it a high priority.

@Mitch_ES Hello, this bug does not have a high priority, but will be fixed in the future. Embed is not a primary source of information from Windy.
