Dust storm in the Caribbean

As reported by CNN, The current Saharan dust episode is leading to the worst dust storm in the Caribbean in decades.
Last few days, the sky has turned brown with a dense dust haze in particular in Cuba:

As shown by the Dust layer on Windy, the dust plume is now extending up to the US and further north to Canada.
