Tropical Storm Fay is quickly moving through the Northeast and, while not a major storm, will bring the threat of locally flooding rain and gusty winds through early Saturday.
Fay is moving almost due northward and will move through the Hudson and Champlain valleys. Most all of the rain associated with Fay is to the north and northwest of its center, spreading up the Hudson Valley and into New England.
Tropical storm conditions are waning along the coast.
