Humidity scale reversed?

Is the humidity scale reversed? NY is showing as higher humidity at night then during the day, with blue indicating higher humidity, and red indicating lower. Should the scale not be the other way round? Blue to show lower, red to show higher?

For me, Blue for high percentage of humidity and Brown for dry conditions is quite consistent
Brown on the ocean and Blue on Sahara would be strange, no?
