Hagupit downgraded to a tropical depression

After marking landfall just south of Shanghai, Hagupit downgraded to a tropical depression moving near 29.8N 120.3E with maximum sustainable winds 55 km/h (30 KT), gusts 74 km/h (40 KT).
The next forecasted movement is north then northeast, near 32.3N 120.2E, passing the west of Shanghai. Later it should re-emerge into the East China Sea.

Newly formed typhoon Hagupit (local name Dindo) is passing north Taiwan near 26.3N 122.5E with maximum sustainable winds 120 km/h (65 KT), gusts 148 km/h (80 KT).
Hagupit is forecasted to make landfall near Zhejiang and Fujian, China on Monday night as it approaches the coast.
The threats are coastal flooding exacerbated by heavy rainfall and strong winds near and to the east of Hagupit.
