This dot is NEVER near my actual location when using the web interface, regardless of how the Startup Location or browser location data are set.

Is there a way to just turn it off? It's annoyingly distracting away from my Favorites which have the actual locations I'm interested in.

Thanks!

It can happen that the user blocked this in the past and then public IP address from user set the location hundreds of kms away.

Showing a location that's totally and grossly wrong makes absolutely no sense. Just offer an option to turn that off. It's the most logical thing to do when you, obviously, can't fix the damn thing.
