How to change the default startup zoom level in the Android app?
I found how to change the default startup location, but not the zoom level.

You cannot change (not yet,...) the default map and zoom. -
@Yves70 That's too bad. Each time I start up I have to zoom in thousands of miles. I guess whoever set the defaults lives in a larger country or uses some regional approach to looking at weather. Alas, there is no "one size fits all."

I agree default zoom level is an important feature. I also have to zoom in multiple levels every time I use the app.

I love this app. Definitely missing the ability to change the default startup zoom.

OK so I think I’ve actually figured something out. This works on my iPad app and iPhone app. If you hold down on the home icon for about two seconds, it will determine your location and zoom in to a radius of like 75 miles which is perfect for me actually.
The default zoom is usually like 1000 miles requiring you to pinch to zoom several times.
With that being said, if your location is not on, that probably won’t work for you.
This 100% solves, my issue of having to zoom in on my location every time I start up. It is not a default action, but a workaround that works for me. Hopefully this helps some others.

@Erik-Richardson Yeah that kind of worked until they disabled it. Windy just keeps getting worse and worse.
