      When I use Windy on my smartphone my location is detected. The "my location" icon has a "pointer" attached to it which appears to possibly indicate North. The icon rotates as I move my phone.
      However, if the pointer is supposed to indicate North it is off by at least 20-50 degrees or more.
      Is this the purpose of the icon? That is, to indicate the direction my phone is pointing?

        On iOS I think the arrow has no purpose and is not pointing to a direction. Its behaviour is inconsistent. Just forget it.
