Tropical Storm Nana made a landfall in Belize

Tropical Storm Nana strengthened into a hurricane and once inland, it weakened into a tropical storm. Nana is located on the coast of Belize, near 16.7N 88.8W. The current movement is toward the west-southwest near 26 km/h (14 knots). This motion is expected to continue through today and will move inland over Guatemala and extreme southeastern Mexico today and tonight.
Maximum sustained winds are near 70 km/h (38 knots) with higher gusts. Rapid weakening is expected today as Nana moves inland.
Nana will produce heavy rainfall which could result in flash flooding in Belize, Guatemala, and portions of southeastern Mexico and the Yucatan Peninsula.
