Hello @tomdon762, we are sorry to hear that you didn't like Windy.

What exactly did you find inaccurate?
We visualize weather forecast data, not real-time weather, so it can happen that the actual situation differs from what was forecasted.

You can compare different forecast models to see which one is best for your location.

I am off shore at the moment, our forecast has predicted this fog and cloud base for the past seven days and your has completely missed it. I have been raving about windy.com being accurate to all of my colleagues. The predicted model and the actual weather are literally polar opposites. Even for the rest of this week your site is saying zero cloud cover when our forecast is saying 500ft cloud base. Location: South of Cork, Ireland.

@tomdon762 We visualize weather forecast data which are not generated by us but provided by meteorological centers. Also, it is still a forecast, not real-time weather. We always recommend comparing different forecast models to see which one is most accurate for your location.

You can read more on why the forecast fails https://community.windy.com/topic/3398/why-the-forecast-fails.
