Wind Direction

Wind direction is opposite to whats happening...we have a lot of forest fire smoke coming up from Washington state into British Columbia and north along the okanagan lake...very smokey. the windi direction at all altitudes shows a strong north to south wind direction...this is not correct since there are no forest fires north of Kelowna BC and the okanagan lake British Columbia -
