    No legend on the app for reading the weather radar

      As you can see, on the Windy app, there is no legend for well reading the weather radar...
      Could you explain me the signification of the colour that are used, and the small brown grain next to thunder ?

        The scale is visible on the desktop :

        dBZ is a unit used with weather radar. This is indeed a bit particular but the interest is that it gives you an idea about the type of precipitation, so not only water and mm of rain. For instance a value >60 indicates a high risk of hail

          The brown areas are those where lighting strikes have been observed. If you look at the Radar loop it is quite obvious.
