@complecz Thank you for the explanation of your problem. Using VPN can affect the position. Did you try to turn it off?
-
@korina
Sorry, but I won't turn off my VPN connection, because you're not able to fix this bug. And I guess, I'm not the only person using VPN and windy. You can't seriously suggest, that every VPN-user switches off his VPN connection?!Any other location-based app that depends on gps, is working just fine, with VPN turned on!
It's possible, that an active VPN connection may lead to a slightly different behaviour of the location api in android and that it needs to be handled in the right way. However, like I stated before, every other app on my phone is just working fine except windy...
So again, please assign this bug to a competent programmer, who knows what he's doing and it will be fixed in a minute.

I am experiencing the same problems on my Android 10 smartphone and tablet. I am always getting wileather data in the widget from locations I have been last week. I am at home since Saturday in the evening, but it displays current weather forecast for old positions again after auto-refreshes of the widget.
I am using Windy app version 27.3.1.I am not using a VPN service exiting there. I am just using Blokada that utilizes a local VPN to provide ad/tracker blocking.
