Start-Stop wind animation programmatically

how to start/stop animation in windy map programmatically?

reason why i want this is because when an android app has a drawer sidebar open, the animation on it lags. so if i can stop the windy animation when the drawer sidebar is open then animation would be smooth.

is there a way?

hi korina. thank you for getting back. this requires manually clicking it in the menu. does windy have it in the api that does this programmatically?
