does anybody know, which weather model includes thermal effects for the (ground) wind forecast?

(Lago di Garda, Lago di Como, Silvaplanasee...)

What you would like to get as wind forecast has to include local parameters (you mentioned lakes) to be more accurate. The only available regional model with Windy covering the North of Italy is Arome. Try with it.
