TS Noul made landfall in Vietnam

Noul has made a landfall on Friday, striking the city of Danang and Thua Thien Hue province as it moved further to the north. The storm reached typhoon strength before its landfall over the Vietnamese coast.
Storm is currently packing winds of 74 km/h (40 KT) with slightly higher gusts. It will continue its movement towards Laos, which will cross late tonight or early Saturday morning as it weakens to a tropical low pressure.
Heavy rains and strong winds are forecasted during tonight and early Saturday. Alerts for lash flooding and landslides have been issued for Quảng Bình, Quảng Trị, Thừa Thiên-Huế provinces and the city of Đà Nẵng.
