ECMWF 1 hour vs. 3 hours in Bassano del Grappa (Italy)

Bassano del Grappa, 3 hours:

Bassano del Grappa, 1 hour:

Wind and temperature are the same, but rain and forecast icons not.
What happens?
Tuesday and Thursday seems ok, though.

In the first diagram (3-hr) we see 0.2 mm of rain in the 3hr period ending at 5 a.m. Thus the light rain icon.

Those 0.2 mm of rain is a very small amount and maybe is 0.2=0.07+0.08+0.05 (in hourly time steps-second diagram).
As those hourly amounts are less than 0.1 mm they treated as zero.

Ok, so forecast icons: if rain is very small (under 0.1), icon doesn't show rain.

Correct and keep in mind that below 0.5mm of rain (in 3h), you can even not really notice it
