No where else (including many apps/sites that purportedly pull from the ww3 data) show this particular, substantial swell. It seems like the anomaly lies within Windy. Any thoughts/ ideas as to why this is showing up here and nowhere else?</p>

Thank you for pointing out this issue AND for providing full details. A lot of user here, when they report an issue, they don’t say where, when, compared with what...<br />
Until dev team look into this, you better use WW3 with 3h forecast step.</p>

Settings are only wave models and 3h/1h forecast.</p>
<p dir="auto">With WAM there is no change with 3h or 1h.</p>
<p dir="auto"><img src="/assets/uploads/files/1601759442659-a405581f-7149-4206-b4e1-7826deebd5da.jpeg" alt="A405581F-7149-4206-B4E1-7826DEEBD5DA.jpeg" class=" img-fluid img-markdown" /></p>
<p dir="auto">With WW3 the wave/ swell height is different with 3h or 1h.</p>
<p dir="auto"><img src="/assets/uploads/files/1601759587106-914cc35b-92ff-4e62-834e-646805be4fab.jpeg" alt="914CC35B-92FF-4E62-834E-646805BE4FAB.jpeg" class=" img-fluid img-markdown" /></p>
<p dir="auto">So it seems there is a bug with WW3 (Wavewatch3) when shown with 1h forecast step. Easy to check it by just toggling from 3h to 1h and back.</p>

OK, I have looked at this site on Oct 03 15Z (UTC) at buoy position. The wave significant height is said to be <strong>4ft</strong>:</p>
<p dir="auto"><img src="/assets/uploads/files/1601742344623-8d740c98-f028-48b8-b706-3aba621a50d5.jpeg" alt="8D740C98-F028-48B8-B706-3ABA621A50D5.jpeg" class=" img-fluid img-markdown" /></p>
<p dir="auto">At same time with <strong>3h forecast step</strong> and same location Windy shows <strong>4ft</strong> with WW3 model:</p>
<p dir="auto"><img src="/assets/uploads/files/1601742802390-93dc7b6f-6718-4ad9-811e-3646b9af2400.jpeg" alt="93DC7B6F-6718-4AD9-811E-3646B9AF2400.jpeg" class=" img-fluid img-markdown" /></p>
<p dir="auto">With <strong>1h forecast step</strong>, the swell height is quite different and should be <strong>7ft</strong>:</p>
<p dir="auto"><img src="/assets/uploads/files/1601750303287-f3c300e5-b45a-4882-8ddd-fce8b1064e0f.jpeg" alt="F3C300E5-B45A-4882-8DDD-FCE8B1064E0F.jpeg" class=" img-fluid img-markdown" /></p>
<p dir="auto">btw your first screenshot was using 1h step.</p>
<p dir="auto">So apparently this is where there is something WRONG with the 1h step wave and swell height<br />
With <strong>3h forecast step</strong>, between 15Z and 18Z the height varies from <strong>4ft to 6 ft</strong>.<br />
With <strong>1h forecast step</strong>, between 15Z and 18Z the height varies from <strong>7ft to 6ft</strong>.</p>
<p dir="auto"><a class="plugin-mentions-user plugin-mentions-a" href="/user/korina" aria-label="Profile: Korina">@<bdi>Korina</bdi></a> Pls could you review this issue with developers. I have used the app on iPad. This issue is also observed on website but only with WW3, not with WAM. It probably needs further investigation.</p>

And where is the problem??<br />
You get 8ft 15s both on the arrow and in the Meteogram.<br />
If you don’t show another source of WW3 model for same area, same hour, what can we conclude?</p>
