Search Bar Error
-
The reports of WMO weather stations can't be accessed from the search bar via desktop, this happened after the new update.
-
Hello @Ahmed-A-AS, would you please describe your issue closer. When I type in the number of any station, the search bar works.
Have you tried it with any other station? When you get no results it can also mean that the station isn't reporting data anymore.
-
@petra-pik I typed the station name instead of the number and got the forecast not the weather report, also the search bar only recognizes the station name.
-
@Ahmed-A-AS I am able to see the station when I type in the name. Please, try to clear your browser data for windy.com.
-
@petra-pik Take a look at this:
You can notice that the flag disappeared near the search result "Wx station Minya 62387"and when typing the station number it reappears but with no name, also I have noticed that issue with another station of the same kind.
-
@Ahmed-A-AS we haven't changed anything. The reason you see it this way now may be the result the name of the station being saved to your cache and it got deleted with the new version Windy.
However, we will change in so the name of the station will be displayed when you search it by the number.Thank you for your feedback!

@Ahmed-A-AS When the helicopter cloud height is selected in the UK it sometimes fills the area being looked at but often there area blocks that report no cloud in areas where there is obviously cloud. Is there a way of refreshing the page so it fills in the information?
-
@Cessna-337 Not sure I have addressed this correctly. Can anyone help with this?
