Windy does not make prediction but just visualize the forecast of the 2 major global weather models. We know that these global models are quite good at predicting the path of hurricanes but not so much their wind force. Reason why Windy shows the NHC hurricane category and wind speed prediction.

Would you share with us what issues you have run into? The weather models are regularly updated. With a Premium account, you have access to the ECMWF update 4 times a day.
