Airport flight category difficult to read

I appreciate that airport flight categories are depicted with their standard color codings. With wind gradients depicted behind, some of the colors can be difficult to view (pink on purple, etc.). Perhaps a quick fix that would be more legible would be to convert the rings to filled in circles? A colored ring doesn’t allow for much color to be depicted whereas if it were simply filled in with the appropriate color it would be far easier to interpret.
