Marine route planning

Is there a user guide for entering a route in the windy app? I am planning a boating trip and I can’t seem to fig out how to do this. I can choose locations on the map and it gives me the mileage but I don’t see how to save the route or see any forecast info for this route. Please advise

The Route planner is only available on desktop version, not in the mobile app.
