Saudel is located near 17.5N 108.2E with maximum winds of 92 km/h (50 KT).

Storm will be bringing rain and some heavy rain across north-central Vietnam and Laos & NE Thailand till the Monday morning.

Saudel is packings winds of 120 km/h (65 KT) and travelling north of Vietnam's Paracel Islands.

Landfall in Central Vietnam is expected within the next 36 hours in localities between Ha Tinh and Quang Tri.

The storm is projected to weaken before it approaches Vietnam, going to maximum winds speed of 108 km/h.

Saudel's landfall will bring strong winds, heavy rainfall up to 150 mm in localities from Nghe An to Thua Thien-Hue.

Saudel has intensified into typhoon Category 2 with current maximum winds of 166 km/h (90 KT) and gusts 138.9 (75 KT).

It is located near 18.0N 115.2E in the South China Sea, approximately 320 km east of Vietnam’s Paracel Islands.

Storm is expected to weaken into tropical depression before it reaches the coast of Ha Tinh - Quang Tri on Sunday and then further weaken into low pressure area.

Provinces Ha Tinh to Quang Tri are forecasted to be affected by the storm.

Saudel is moving west and north-west at speed 20 km/h (11 KT) and is forecasted to further intensify in the next 24-48 hours.

Maximum winds are 148 km/h (80 KT).

The storm should further move west at speeds of between 20-25km towards Central Vietnam and make landfall. Storm will bring heavy rain to the region this weekend.

Saudel lashed Philippines on Wednesday with heavy rainfall, causing landslides and forcing thousands of people to evacuate. The storm is now moving west-northwestward to the East Sea and heading for Vietnam

Storm is expected to hit the Central Vietnam on Sunday and making landfall on areas that have suffered their worst flooding in two decades.

Maximum winds are 83 km/h (45 KT) with higher gusts, location is near 16.7N 118.4E.

Saudel will also bring heavy to extremely heavy rainfall to the northern Taiwan in the coming days as it stays under the storm's influence.

Tropical storm Saudel has formed off the eastern coast of the Philippines on October 20. The storm has strengthen into typhoon and is currently located at 15.6N 124.9E with maximum winds of 83 km/h (45 KT).

Saudel is predicted to move westwards into the East Sea and cross the Hoang Sa Archipelago on Friday 23rd with strong winds.

The storm should weaken before it reaches Vietnam on the weekend, however it is still uncertain where it may land.
