<p dir="auto">Saudel is located near 17.5N 108.2E with maximum winds of 92 km/h (50 KT).</p>
<p dir="auto">Storm will be bringing rain and some heavy rain across north-central <strong>Vietnam</strong> and Laos &amp; NE Thailand till the Monday morning.</p>

<p dir="auto"><strong>Saudel</strong> is packings winds of 120 km/h (65 KT) and travelling north of <strong>Vietnam's Paracel Islands</strong>.</p>
<p dir="auto">Landfall in Central Vietnam is expected within the next 36 hours in localities between <strong>Ha Tinh</strong> and <strong>Quang Tri</strong>.</p>
<p dir="auto">The storm is projected to weaken before it approaches Vietnam, going to maximum winds speed of 108 km/h.</p>

<p dir="auto">Saudel's landfall will bring strong winds, heavy rainfall up to 150 mm in localities from <strong>Nghe An</strong> to <strong>Thua Thien-Hue</strong>.</p>
<h4>Update: 23rd of October, 9:00 a.m. UTC</h4>
<p dir="auto"><strong>Saudel</strong> has intensified into typhoon <strong>Category 2</strong> with current maximum winds of 166 km/h (90 KT) and gusts 138.9 (75 KT).</p>
<p dir="auto">It is located near 18.0N 115.2E in the <strong>South China Sea</strong>, approximately 320 km east of Vietnam’s Paracel Islands.</p>
<p dir="auto">Storm is expected to weaken into tropical depression before it reaches the coast of Ha Tinh - Quang Tri on <strong>Sunday</strong> and then further weaken into low pressure area.</p>
<p dir="auto">Provinces <strong>Ha Tinh</strong> to <strong>Quang Tri</strong> are forecasted to be affected by the storm.</p>

<p dir="auto">Saudel is moving west and north-west at speed 20 km/h (11 KT) and is forecasted to further intensify in the next 24-48 hours.</p>
<p dir="auto"><strong>Maximum winds</strong> are 148 km/h (80 KT).</p>
<p dir="auto">The storm should further move west at speeds of between 20-25km towards <strong>Central Vietnam</strong> and make landfall. Storm will bring <strong>heavy rain</strong> to the region this weekend.</p>

<h4>Update: 21st of October, 8:00 a.m. UTC</h4>
<p dir="auto"><strong>Saudel</strong> lashed Philippines on Wednesday with heavy rainfall, causing landslides and forcing thousands of people to evacuate. The storm is now moving west-northwestward to the East Sea and heading for Vietnam</p>
<p dir="auto">Storm is expected to hit the Central Vietnam on Sunday and making landfall on areas that have suffered their worst flooding in two decades.</p>

<p dir="auto">Maximum winds are 83 km/h (45 KT) with higher gusts, location is near <strong>16.7N 118.4E</strong>.</p>
<p dir="auto">Saudel will also bring heavy to extremely heavy rainfall to the <strong>northern Taiwan</strong> in the coming days as it stays under the storm's influence.</p>
<h4>Update: 20th of October, 9:00 a.m. UTC</h4>
<p dir="auto">Tropical storm <strong>Saudel</strong> has formed off the eastern coast of the Philippines on October 20. The storm has strengthen into typhoon and is currently located at <strong>15.6N 124.9E</strong> with maximum winds of 83 km/h (45 KT).</p>
<p dir="auto">Saudel is predicted to move westwards into the East Sea and cross the <strong>Hoang Sa Archipelago</strong> on Friday 23rd with strong winds.</p>
<p dir="auto">The storm should weaken before it reaches Vietnam on the weekend, however it is still uncertain where it may land.</p>
