      Hi there,

I am an undergraduate meteorology student in US. A question please that when model predicting the temperature, does it already consider some factors like cloud cover and wind direction, or it just do the calculation and get the number?

      Thanks

You will find probably answers to your question in this document from ECMWF.
        https://www.ecmwf.int/file/285476/download?token=ko55VlV0
It gives full details on IFS HRES implementation.
You should find too a similar document for GFS in NOAA library.
