Widget will not load on my iPad running IPadOS 14.1

After the latest iOS update widget will not load.

We don't have a new type of widget iOS 14 offers. To which one are you referring? -
Hello@petra-pik not new type of widget. After lastest IPadOS, 14, update the widget will no longer load. In the widget window it says “Unable to Load”. I have deleted Windy several times without success.

@okimyhome, have you tried to delete the widget and adding it again?
Hello @joop10, are you referring to Windy or Windy Maps? Windy doesn't work offline.

Am i sure i have widget from you? Yes since I’m paying for premium services.
Widget works fine on my iPhone as you can see in the pics.

I get the same issue as @okimyhome on iPad just after updating to iOS 14. It shows ‘unable to load’.

@okimyhome Hello, we do not have widget that can be put on the screen as iOS14 enables. Our widget is only available in the side left menu. From your screenshot, I can see it is placed on the screen.

And this one on screen
But note that I am not really using them, it’s just to understand what users say.

@idefix37 Hello, I understand what you mean, however the widget cannot be added to the screen. But on the screenshot the user posted, it seems the widget is on the screen, which is not possible.

@korina I am having the same issue, widget is on the side menu , not on desktop, and I can add it but it can not load data, I tried re-adding it , and reinstall of app but it’s the same. It used to work in 14.1 and 14.3 fine like this but stopped couple of days ago.

Do you mean that your widget does not work even in the side menu?

@nikods Hi, same here, no way to got the widget load fonction in the side menu since ios14. It works on my iPhone but not on my iPad.
EDIT: made just now the last update 28.0.3 and it works fine. Thanks. -
