Local NWS Alerts

The one thing really holding this fantastic app for me from becoming my one and only weather solution is the lack of NWS weather alert integration.
Lately we’ve been receiving a lot of rain and there have been many flood alerts in our area. Not getting this vital information through Windy is kind of disheartening considering all the other features it offers.

I do have alerts set up through Windy, but they don’t offer such alerts as Flood Warnings, Tornado/Thunderstorm Warnings etc. unless I’m missing something.

There is the Weather warning layer which shows the NWS warnings, but in USA they seem only on waters and this layer does not seems very reliable. It is considered experimental

I haven’t been to the forum lately, and I just stumbled across this feature while dealing with TS ETA, and I wanted to come back here to update so others reading this might know about it also. Glad you beat me to it 😉!

@wxboss I think he means seeing a map with all the NWS alerts on it.

@storm1485 Hello, Weather warnings are still experimental, so not all alerts are shown.
