-
Update: 5th of November, 2:00 p.m. UTC
Tropical Storm Atsani (locally Siony) was located near 20.2N 125.5E, south-southwest of Kadena Ab, Okinawa. Moving toward the west at 17 km/h (9 knots).
Maximum sustained winds are near 102 km/h (55 knots).
It is forecasted for Atsani to track southwestward towards southern Vietnam and steadily weaken prior to landfall over South Central Vietnam. Combined with the unfavorable environment, terrain interaction after landfall will rapidly weaken the system until full dissipation.
