Narrow click area on the time bar

I love this app. I love how you can see the weather systems evolving on the map and I use it all the time.

One thing that has always been really annoying is the click area on the time bar that's too narrow.

I'm looking at the weather above and I click on the bar repeatedly, maybe, to see the weather on different days at the same hour. Very often I end up clicking on the map instead and loosing my place.

Could the click on the map, that is near the time bar, be disabled?
That might solve the problem.

Also, it would be a great feature a button that would let me jump ahead 24h!
