Typhoon Vamco approaching Vietnam

Typhoon Vamco is currently approaching coasts of Vietnam, it is moving at 16.7N 108.5E approximately 82 km/h north-northeast of Da Nang.
Maximum winds are 148 km/h (80 kt) with higher gusts.
Landfall is predicted this morning, local time. Typhoon is weakening, but it is still bringing heavy rain and strong winds over the country.

Typhoon Vamco was located approximately 110 nm east of Da Nang, Vietnam, and has tracked westward near 20 km/h (11 knots).
It is forecasted that Vamco will track more west-northwestward, making landfall over central Vietnam.
The system will continue to weaken even more after landfall.

Vamco is now a Category 3 typhoon with maximum winds of 185 km/h (100 kt). Vamco is moving westward approximately 548 km from Da Nang.
According to forecast, typhoon should not further strengthen as it moves closer to the coasts.

The center of the storm Vamco is moving away from Philippines with maximum winds of 138 km/h (75 kt). Vamco is now equivalent to Category 1 typhoon.
Forecast shows the typhoon heading towards Vietnam, while weakening. Vietnam is likely to be affected by the storm on the weekend.

Typhoon is located near 15.0N 120.6E with maximum winds of 175 km/h. Vamco has made a landfall in Luzon, leaving the area devastated. It is now headed offshore into the South China Sea.

Vamco is moving near 14.6N 123.4E, nearing Luzon and expected to pass near or just north of Manila Wednesday night or Thursday morning, local time.
Typhoon is packing maximum sustainable winds of 148 km/h (80 kt) and gusts 185 km/h (100 kt).
Coastal communities are ordered to leave their home as a part of evacuation preparations. Nine foot (three-metre) storm surge is expected on coasts.
After leaving Philippines, Vamco will move towards central Vietnam and possibly impact it on the weekend.

TS Vamco (Ulysses) is moving west-northwestward at speed of 9 km/h (5 kt) and it is located approximately 764 km/h southeast of Luzon island in the Philippines.
Maximum winds are 74 km/h (40 kt).
The storm may reach typhoon category with peak intensity on Wednesday afternoon or evening. Quezon has raised a red alert on Tuesday, November 10.

Tropical storm internationally known as Vamco (locally Ulysses) has strengthen from tropical depression into tropical storm on Monday over the Philippine Sea.
Storm is located approximately 575 kilometers east of Borongan City, Eastern Samar and moving slowly northwest at 15km/h, this motion should continue until Tuesday, November 10.
Vamco could make landfall over Bicol-Quezon area on Thursday as it is expected to turn west on Wednesday.
Maximum winds are 46 km/h (25 kt) with higher gusts.
