TS Etau made landfall over Vietnam

TS Etau (Tonyo) made landfall over southern Vietnam this Tuesday afternoon local time. The storm has tracked westward at 18 km/h (10 kt) in the last 6 hours.
Since then it has downgraded to tropical depression with maximum winds of 55 km/h (30 kt).
Storm is bringing heavy rainfall and causing flooding and landslides.

Tropical storm Etau (locally Tonyo), which has formed in the South China Sea, is moving westwards with maximum winds of 74 km/h (40 kt).
Storm is expected to make landfall in provinces Phu Yen and Ninh Thuan on Wednesday, November 11. Intensification before landfall is possible.
Provinces between Quang Binh and Khanh Hoa can expect flooding. Heavy rainfall up to 400mm (16in) can occur in provinces Quang Tri and Khanh Hoa.
