it seems to be the connection, the maps loads extremly slow

Hello @DirkZiervogel, would you describe your issue closer? If you download a map and then the internet connection doesn't work/is slow you won't be able to view regions you haven't previously downloaded.

@DirkZiervogel that is correct, when you are offline, regions you haven't previously downloaded for offline use, won't be available to you.
