Hi all the Wallis Switzerland stations are not working...how come that ? Thanks

Hi, Yes it seems that official weather stations from Meteo Swiss have disappeared. Not only in Wallis (Valais) but in whole Switzerland. There are only some airport weather stations and personal weather station (pws or madis) left.

@idefix37 @aldoalbini it seems like the Valais station (FW3742) stopped reporting data completely month ago (latest update is from 15.10.2020). There is unfortunately nothing we can do about it. I checked available reporting sources and none of them has actual data from this station. Not even MeteoSwiss. @idefix37 do you please know about any source which has current data? Also, you mentioned more stations that have dissapeared - can you please provide more examples?

Here are the official weather stations in Switzerland. They are run by MeteoSwizz (each point is clickable):

For instance the Jungfraujoch which is a weather station in high altitude 3500m, is not longer shown in Windy. Same with Les Attelas 2700m. I used these 2 stations to compare observation and models in this post, but they disappeared :

I remember other stations like La Dole, Saentis, Payerne... which have disappeared too. As I said, there are now only PWS and airport weather stations shown by Windy in Switzerland.

BTW I know now why the NEMS map is different from the METEOBLUE Meteogram, but at that time nobody gave me any explanation.

Hi , For 24 hours (and probably longer) the wmo stations that you have re-introduced in Switzerland, are showing an issue and are not able to display the Forecast vs Observation feature. This only happens with official Swizz stations but not with pws, madis, ad... in this country.

However temperature and wind speed are correctly displayed at these stations.
