German anomaly

On radar display there is a repeat anomaly which extends from Kassel to Dortmund (Germany).
This is not always present but is regularly there.
Is this an edge effect on your contouring algorithms or something else? -

This bow has been growing from S to N. Maybe fine-tuning needed?
(It was better to tell with still missing animation module.)
