      @kbsali

      I just have one question, how often should the tracker update? I'm still seeing a 'report date' of 0900 on 14 Nov 2020.

      Although the positions seem up to date compared to https://www.vendeeglobe.org/en/tracking-map - Ranking on 14 Nov 2020 - 21h (UTC) - Next ranking: 04h (UTC)

      Maybe just the time is incorrect?

      WINDY is everywhere :)

        Yes, Jason I like it !
        I gave a try yesterday but it didn't work. And today it is successful.
        It's nice to get the boat positions, on Windy (customized) wind map and the forecast weather for the next days too.
        @kbsali Thank you for this great plugin !
        I have a question:
        It seems necessary to load your plugin from npm each time we open Windy. Is there a way to install it definitively?

          I've uploaded the image here to Windy too, because Imgur wasn't being very cooperative.

          ok thanks, by "here" you mean in this forum? :)

          I've also shared it (and credited you) on https://www.cruisersforum.com/forums/f47/vendee-2020-a-242208-6.html#post3274599 where there is a Vendee thread and discussion.

          cool! I'll go and check it out.

          This is because of the date formatting in javascript, I'll try to improve that. But it is correct : 0900 = 21h "the britsh way" :)

          That is why I posted the message in this thread, I belive @ivo is the one who can update the list of "validated plugins". Btw @ivo I'm not sure how to get the screenshot uploaded to img.windy.com

                Thank you again for your boat tracker plugin. It works fine, but I have a small issue on Mac using Chrome: All icons on UI disappear when I use your plugin (and only your)

                  @idefix37 I'm not sure I can do anything about this! :)
                  Could it be a problem with your connection not being very stable? I've had similar issues and refreshing the page fixed the problem!

                    I think this is the cause:

                    * {
                        font-family: Robot,sans-serif;
                    }

                      @rittels oh? really?
                      this is supposed to be "in" .onwindy-plugin-regadata
                      ok, i'll try and fix this, but I find it surprising.

                        I've seen the same issue sometimes, and i'm Chrome and Windows 10.

                        Also other users are starting to post about this issue elsewhere in the forum too.

                            Cool, working now.

                            .onwindy-plugin-xxxx is added to the < body> element, so affects everything inside body.

                                But I still believe this is sort of a "bug" from the Windy plugin loader, don't you think @marekd ?

                                  @kbsali Greaty plugin. Can we propagate the plugin, or should we rather keep quiet?

                                  How about Vendee Globe name? I guess there are some copyright issues.

                                      I have asked them on several occasions but never got an answer.
                                      But to be honnest, I don't think they would complain : they use the plugin on their live videos now to present where the boats are! :)

                                        I've found these videos, but cannot give the link, just a screenshot.

                                        They say that these maps are provided by Christian Dumard. This meteorologist is routing boats on this race and is known as a Windy user.
                                        See his FB post of Nov. 19:
                                        https://www.facebook.com/pg/marineweatherandstrategy/posts/
                                        So, are these maps from a Windy API source?
                                        But not exactly the plugin itself?

                                            @idefix37 you are right!
                                            I spoke with him on the phone short after submitting my last message. He contacted me so we could integrate the routing his team has been working on. As you spotted, they are using the API and did not know how to turn it into a plugin. So we will "join forces" to make the routing bit available to everybody. We'll see if the race org starts using it.
