How to gift Windy Premium 🎁

Many of our users keep asking us whether there is an option to gift Windy Premium to someone. The answer is yes and we have prepared a short manual how to do it:
Purchase Premium on desktop

Log out from your account, go to https://www.windy.com/subscription and choose one of the purchase options. (You need to purchase Premium as a “non-logged in” user).

Fill out the purchase details and select payment method

Click on Pay
Pick up Premium code

Once you have successfully completed payment, you will receive 3 emails from our provider FastSpring.

In "Windy CheckOut" email, you can pick up your code, which will have this format - "WINDYxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxxx".
Applying gifted code
Activation of the gifted Windy Premium code is as follows:

Login to your account or create one here

Go to Subscriptions and click on "Restore purchases"

Then insert the gifted code (WINDYxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxxx) and you are all set! Windy Premium will be assigned to your account.

I have paid for premium and don’t seem to have it applied to the app please can you help! We are meant to flood and I was hoping to get more accurate information but instead it’s worse! Please help

@mrsbargin Hello, I can see you already have Premium activated. If you want to access it in the app as well, just login with the same account details.

I do not understand one time payment for one year
What is the difference between that and annual subscription?

@illum1n4ti Hello, one time payment means there is no subscription and no commitment. Annual subscription is renewable every year.
