      The punctual precipitations expressed in lt / km² how often are they considered? I understand that the unit should be lt / m² given the values shown since 1 lt / m² = 1 mm.

        You are probably referring to lightning expressed as lightning / km2 = l/km2.
        It has nothing to do with rain which is expressed in mm in Windy.

          ok, understood, I thought you meant liters / km². Sometimes meteorologists refer to the amount of rainfall as liters / m² which equates to millimeters hence my confusion.
