Change speed of animation?

Hello, I have just upgraded to premium, now getting hourly forecasts, however, the animation (when I click the play button at the bottom) is so so very slow! It would be great to be able to adjust the speed, since hourly data means more animation points, therefore it could definitely be played faster and still get a smooth animation.

Right now it's about 1 frame per second (1 hour per second), and since the weather changes are quite gradual, 10 hours (frames) per second would be perfect or so.

If such speeds cannot be done straight away, could do with first loading and caching the data (like for the satellite cloud view) and then playing the animation in real time after it's been cached.

Using keys at desktop is not useful at the smartphone.

I find it also very important. It's very boring to observe upcoming tropical rain. Is it because of more pics/minute, when I'm Premium ?
What about a longpress on the play- button to adjust ?

Also the forecast of rain is only one hour anymore ( since I'm Premium ? ) Should also be adjustable :-)

If you are using the desktop version, you can get a better control the animation with the L and R arrow keys of your key board.

@Suty this is one of the most fundamental controls of radar animation. How is this not in the plans? It will definitely hinder the amount of paying customers you have. I feel like I got duped into buying the premium thinking it would have that feature.

I decided not to renew my subscription because of the new satellite speed controls.
I would love to renew my subscription once the old controls are restored.
I know there are MUCH more functions, but the satellite timelines are very important to me.

The 1hr has nice smooth animations, though short acting.
Extended times (6-12hrs) used to be as smooth, but it seems like all settings now show the animations in seconds , so it condenses 6hrs into the same real-time timeframe of the 1hr display and same with other settings (I just noticed there is no 12hr, just 1-6-24hrs) I would like 12hrs put back in
It skips and jumps and is not smooth.
Having control to show how fast each time frame is displayed would be wonderful.
