A layer for past, current, and future jetstream forecasts would be a great addition!

Jet stream has been available for a long time. Select Wind layer and set the Altitude slider to 300 hPa or 250 hPa, you get the jet stream winds.

But of course there is no way to show past jet stream as Windy does not show historical data.

@idefix37 Hey thanks! why I didn't think of it makes me feel pretty silly. But I would like to see it as a graphic on its own. Maybe along with frontal boundaries.

To see the jetstream on its own you should only keep wind speed above 100km/h which is not possible with Windy. There are other sites where you can do that : http://www.meteociel.fr/modeles/gefs_cartes.php?code=0&ech=0&mode=3&carte=0
