      Hello, I asked about displaying optical cloud thickness some time in the last month, but I also think an approximate cloud thickness would be helpful too - taking cloud top height and subtracting it from cloud base height. Of course, it would not be the total thickness, as we can have just air in the middle of several cloud layers, but I would prefer looking at that one value, instead of switching from base height to top height and calculating it myself, and that would be quite trivial to implement.

        You can use the plugin Better Sounding proposed in the list of Windy plugins. This will allow you to calculate the cloud thickness as you can see below :
