PS. during COVID-19 lockdown here in Australia I have shared Windy with other housebound colleagues and friends. The displays, including the webcams are such a nice way to "dream and escape" whilst otherwise confined. -

I checked again today. There are still a lot of snowy webcams in the Somalia area. I have attached two examples taken today at 5.45UTC
Actually there are quite a few more "Autobahn" webcam pics along the Indian Ocean shores of Somalia. Please check this yourself. These are near Dharinbaar.
I don't know what is happening here.

Sorry for this third email correspondence on the same topic. But there are still problems with German webcam's mapping to Somalia and the coast of Somalia
I have attached an image from today as I look at windy on an almost daily basis

PS. I will not add to this post in future as I do not want to be a "pain". I hope you and other windy administrators will keep an eye on these "rogue" webcam sites. -

Here is one that looks more like a mediterranean seaside town than one in Arabia https://on.windy.com/617pt
And here is snow in Jemen: https://on.windy.com/617q5I just created a recent topic on mis-placed webcams.
Many of them are Angelcams but not all (https://community.windy.com/topic/18980/incorrect-webcam-locations)Could it be that someone is trying to spam Windy with incorrect webcams?

I can add any incorrectly located webcam to my main post about it (as you can see there is a list already).
Thanks for clarifying this. I really thought this was someone trying to guerilla-promote his own cams.
