Incomplete screen-fill on iPhone 11 Pro Max

The Windy app cuts off the screen in the upper part of my iPhone 11 Pro Max display, leaving a white blank field from the middle of the clock, network and battery symbol and up to the edge. I have tried to uninstall and then reinstall the app, which solved the problem for the first 2-3 minutes until the issue reoccured. Fully closing and reopening the app does not help. Any solution to this?

Hello @myliontiger, is it possible that you have enabled 'Display zoom' in your phones's settings? Would you upload a screenshot?

@ivo Hi Ivo. I was trying to upload a screenshot when making the post yesterday, but I only got error messages when trying and the same happened when I tried now. I have however, based on the other reply to this post identified the issue, which indeed seem to be related to the display zoom function in the iphone settings. I didn’t think of that as I haven’t had that kind of scren issue with any other of my nearly 300 apps in zoomed mode, but that is the case with the Windy app. Otherwise a great app and service, so thanks!

@petra-pik Hi Petra. Thanks a lot for your tip, my issue was indeed related to the display zoom function in the iphone settings. I didn’t think of that as I haven’t had that kind of screen issue with any other of my nearly 300 apps in zoomed mode, but that is the case with the Windy app. I tested with both standard and zoom mode and the cut off Windy screen only appears in zoomed mode and not in standard, so at least I know that. Again, many thanks for your help that gave me the answer :-)
