Global models (ICON) - Australia

Hi Windy team,
I'd like to say thank you for adding another global model the the Windy service!
Windy has been my go to for weather forecasting for years now and with the introduction of a new global model to help better compare weather events It has become even more powerful!!!!!!
Thank you for adding ICON for us to use in Australia!
Hopefully we'll see more global models added to windy soon (Fingers crossed)!

@petra-pik hi, when are you planning to add this model to the application? and are you adding a GEM model from Canada or another global model from the UK?

Hello @przemo1986, it will be in the next version of the application which will be released within the next few days.
As for other models, there are no specific plans. -
@petra-pik Just wondering when ICON will be added to the mobile apps?

@anthony10 global ICON is included in the latest version of the application which is being released now. It takes few days for the update to reach all users.
