Track air pollution in your area with our network of air quality stations monitoring the main air pollutants such as CO, NO2, SO2 and particulate matter PM2.5 and PM10, to quickly analyse whether air quality is reaching unhealthy level.

Values are based on US Air Quality Index, divided into 6 categories of concern (Good - Hazardous), based on AQI value that ranges from 0 to 500.

What source does Windy use for these stations please Korina?

There doesn't appear to be any available for New Zealand (and only very limited stations for Australia too)?

But aqicn.org / waqi.info show multiple stations available:

They also have an API, but I'm not sure what the terms of use are.

@jmh2002 Hello, our sources are Datacove and OpenAQ. We were considering adding aqicn.org, however we decided not to implement it, since we still analysing their data quality and compatibility with our system.

However, we plan to expand our network again.
