    Poor European satellite visible channel resolution

      The resolution of the European satellite view has recently become very poor in the visible and blue channels. In fact, they look identical to the infra-red channel (which is always fairly low resolution).

            @ulricj, thank you for the screenshot.
            The European satellite has some technical issues so right now the imagery is provided by a global satellite that has a lower resolution.
            Once it is possible, we will display the higher one.

                @petra-pik Is there any timescale for resolving this problem? I note that detailed satellite imagery is available for Europe; I have attached a comparison with Sat24.com.

                    @korina Thank you for this information. It is exactly what I was looking for and perfectly explains the situation.

                    I did actually look for this information before submitting, but didn't find it. Could I suggest that the "System Status" category be included in the main menu, perhaps beside "Error Console"? I would never have submitted the bug report had that been the case.
