      Hi,

the online version of the great Windy (www.windy.com) does not work with my Firefox. Windy always just shows very uniform wind from north-east to south-west. I already disabled all extensions. But this does not help. No layer works. Just the background color is changed. My FF version is 85.0.1 64 bit on Windows 10 64 bit with all updates and fixes.

With Firefox in "safe mode", Windy get crazy and seems to not ever delete the wind marks it paints on the screen.

It works very well with Google Chrome.

Any idea what I could do to solve this?

      Thanks

Found the reason myself right after posting the problem.

I color calibrated my monitor and also told FF to use the generated color profile (in about:config "gfx.color_management.enablev4").
If the color correction mode ("gfx.color_management.mode") is set to 1 (full color management) Windy does not work. If I set it to 2 (only to tagged images) it works. But value 2 does send untagged images without color correction to the monitor, which might lead into oversaturation and which is not expected for a color correction...

Any chance that the Windy website works with full color correction in FF?

@mdrmdr Hello, this is quite specific settings, I would advise to use Windy in normal settings or use different browser.

@korina Thanks for your feedback. I will use Chrome then for Windy, since I do not want to miss the correct color calibration within Firefox, which is my standard browser.
