Yağmur means rain, but not precipitaion of any kind
Yağış means precipition of any kind like rain, snow etc.

Today it is snowing in Istanbul, Turkey. This is stated as rain in the charts.

This layer is named Rain in all languages. So it’s not only for Turkish. It should be change for all.
